Man hat nicht das Gefühl, dass man einen Friseursalon betritt. Vielmehr ein geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Spa. Im Salon kann man ganz nach dem AVEDA-Prinzip nicht nur die Haare verwöhnen, sondern auch die Seele baumeln lassen. Von Massagen über verschiedene Facials gibt es eine Vielzahl an Treatments, die man im hauseigenen Spa wahrnehmen kann.

Nachdem man seine Jacke an der Garderobe abgegeben hat, hüllt man sich in einen Kimono, sobald man auf dem Frisierstuhl Platz genommen hat, erwartet die Kunden ein AVEDA-Tee und eine heiße Kompresse. Kein großer Aufwand, aber eine sehr schöne Geste.

Für den Sommer wollte ich meine Haare wieder ein klein wenig heller haben und entschied mich vor der Botanical Therapy für Strähnen in der Balayage Technik. Hierbei wird die Farbe auf einzelne Strähnen gepinselt, mit dem Effekt, dass das Ergebnis sehr natürlich und wie von der Sonne aufgehellt aussieht.

Ein weiteres Goodie beim Auswaschen der Farbe: Die Liege hat eine Massagefunktion, während die Kur einwirkt bekommt man außerdem eine AVEDA-Handmassage.

Doch nun zur Botanical Therapy, die bei Fabien K unter “Hair Spa” im Programm steht. Wir entschieden uns für die Express Variante, die circa zwanzig Minuten dauert und im Salon 25 Euro kostet. Das Hair Spa ist zehnmal so intensiv wie eine normale Haarkur und wird ausschließlich in Salons angeboten. Mit Hilfe der AVEDA Produkte, die nacheinander ins Haar eingearbeitet werden, wird dies regeneriert. Das Haar wird mit Proteinen (Proteinmangel ist der häufigste Grund für geschädigtes Haar!) und Feuchtigkeit versorgt, das perfekte “Facial” für das Haar. Dafür werden nacheinander die Produkte “Dry Remedy Penetration Moisture” und “Damage Remedy Penetrationg Protein” verwendet. Die Botanical Therapy wird zwar nur in Salons durchgeführt, es gibt aber auch Produkte für zuhause, und zwar die “Damage Remedy” Serie. Diese umfasst neben Shampoo und Conditioner auch Kuren, die das Haar revitalisieren.

Und das Ergebnis? Klar, wenn man einen Salon verlässt und die Haare perfekt geföhnt sind, fühlt sich das natürlich immer toll an. Spannend ist es, wie es dem Haar geht, wenn man es bereits mehrmals selbst gewaschen hat. Mittlerweile ist mein Besuch bei Fabien K eine Woche und sechs Haarwäschen (Ja, ich weiß, ich wasche meine Haare zu oft.) her, und das Haar ist immer noch butterweich. Es strahlt gesund (Ich bekomme tatsächlich ständig Komplimente!), ist supergeschmeidig, und fühlt sich einfach gesund an. Das Hair Spa wird definitiv in den monatlichen Beauty-Plan mit aufgenommen, zumal 25 Euro für die Express-Variante auch ein wirklich humaner Preis sind. Das 60-Minuten-Treatment gibt es übrigens für 60 Euro. Zum Beispiel vor einen besonderen Anlass definitiv jederzeit eine Investition wert!

Today I want to show you a new highlight of the range of CONLEYS: A neon colored biker jacket. See more pictures of my look and read the complete article here!

Zufälligerweise war ich nur zwei Wochen später zum Press Day der Berliner Agentur Reichert PR eingeladen und bekam das Angebot, dort deren Kunden LuxusLashes zu testen. Nachdem ich am besagten Tag leider bereits verplant war, freute ich mich umso mehr um die Möglichkeit, ein paar Wochen später im Münchner Salon SERBES Haardesign eine LuxusLashes-Wimpernverlängerung zu testen. So machte ich mich letzten Donnerstag voller Vorfreude ins schöne Bogenhausen auf und betrat den Salon mit großen Erwartungen. Bei einem Beratungsgespräch wurde ich gefragt, ob ich die alte oder die neue Variante wählen möchte. Bei der herkömmlichen Variante wird immer eine falsche Wimper auf eine natürliche Wimper geklebt, bei der neuen Variante zwei bis fünf Wimpern. Bei der herkömmlichen Variante werden so circa 80 Wimpern pro Auge geklebt, bei der neuen mindestens doppelt so viele. Da die neue Variante (Ca. 100 Euro teurer) ein noch größeres Wow-Erlebnis verspricht, wählte ich natürlich diese.

Vorher (Getuscht!)

Ein paar Minuten machte ich es mir auf einer Liege bequem und durfte erst einmal die Augen zumachen. Im ersten Schritt wurde ein Pad unter mein Auge geklebt, um den unteren Wimpernkranz zu schützen. Nur der obere Wimpernkranz wird beklebt. Insgesamt eineinhalb Stunden dauerte die Wimpernbeklebung, was aber keinesfalls unangenehm war. Ich persönlich döste sogar für kurze Zeit ein. Wir entschieden uns für zwei Seidenwimpern pro natürlicher Wimper, noch mehr Wimpern können für den Alltag leicht “too much” sein. Nach besagten eineinhalb Stunden bekam ich einen Spiegel in die Hand, um das Ergebnis zu betrachten. Und was soll ich sagen: Ich war soooooo begeistert. Mit einem schönen Ergebnis hatte ich gerechnet, aber dass der WOW-Effekt so groß sein würde, hätte ich nicht gedacht. Die Wimpern sehen supernatürlich aus, sind sehr zart, und man hat keineswegs das Gefühl, einen Fremdkörper im Gesicht zu haben. Das Wichtigste ist natürlich die Optik: Wie ihr auf den Bildern erkennen könnt (Auf den Vorher-Bildern sind die Wimpern ganz normal getuscht), ist das Ergebnis wirklich beeindruckend.

Damit das Ergebnis so schön bleibt, gilt es einiges zu beachten: Circa alle drei Wochen müssen die Wimpern aufgefüllt werden. Warum so oft? Die natürlichen Wimpern haben eine kurze Haltbarkeit und fallen regelmäßig aus. Logischerweise verabschieden sich damit auch die auf der natürlichen Wimper angebrachten Fake Lashes. Sehr wichtig: Die ersten 48 Stunden nach der Behandlung darf kein Wasser an die Wimpern kommen. Dies wurde insbesondere zur Challenge, als ich am Tag darauf ohne Regenschirm unterwegs war, und ein gewaltiger Schauer über München hereinbrach. Wie gut, dass ich immer eine Sonnenbrille dabei habe. Außerdem muss man beachten, dass man keine wasserfeste Mascara verwendet. Aber ehrlich gesagt ist auch gar keine Mascara mehr nötig, sobald die Lashes angebracht sind. Die Wimpern sind von Natur aus schwarz und wunderschön gebogen, weder mit Mascara noch mit einer Wimpernzange bekommt man solch ein Traumergebnis hin. Mit einem kleinen Bürstchen, das es nach der Behandlung im Salon gibt, müssen sie lediglich morgens kurz gebürstet werden.

Eine Wimpernverlängerung mit LuxusLashes beginnt preislich bei 200 Euro (herkömmliche Variante). Die neue Variante beginnt bei 300 Euro, das erste Mal Auffüllen ist inklusive. Der Nachfülltermin alle drei Wochen beginnt bei 50 Euro, je nachdem wie viele Wimpern geklebt werden müssen.

Fazit: Klar, 200 Euro aufwärts sind ein stolzer Preis. Aber: Die Investition lohnt sich! Der Unterschied zur Natur ist wirklich extrem und man möchte nie wieder “ohne”. Insbesondere für den Sommer finde ich die Fake Lashes großartig, da ich mir so nie Gedanken über Mascara machen muss und die Wimpern auch “nackt” perfekt geschminkt aussehen.

If it were possible to choose one beauty product only I always would go for mascara. I kinda feel naked without it. By nature I’m not blessed with long eyelashes and I have to admit that I really envy girls with long ones. As of the Louis Vuitton photo shoot where at I got the chance of high quality faked eyelashes I got really keen on it leading to the decision that I’m definitely in need of that more often. Even better: I need them permanently!

By accident just two weeks after, I was invited to the Press day of Berlin’s PR Agency Reichert and I got the opportunity to test LuxusLashes available for clients. However, since I was totally busy that day I was even happier about the chance to test the luxury extension of eyelashes only a few weeks later at Munich’s Salon “SERBES Haardesign”. Thus, full of anticipation I went to the beautiful Bogenhausen and entered the salon with high expectations, last Thursday.

During a counseling session I was asked whether I prefer the traditional or the new method. At former one, one single faked eyelash is put on the natural one whereas at latter technique two – five faked ones are put on the natural eyelash. At traditional way approximately 80 faked eyelashes per eye are used and around double amount for new method. I chose the new way (that is about EUR 100 more expensive) as it seemed quite promising.

For a few minutes I made myself comfortable with closed eyes on a lounger. Firstly, a pad was paste below my eye in order to protect under lashes. Only upper lashes are paste up with faked eyelashes. It took one and a half hours to get my new eyelashes, which was not displeasing at all. I personally napped a bit in between. We decided on two silk eyelashes per natural eyelash as more may be exaggerating for daily life. After mentioned one and a half hours, I got a mirror to see result. What shall I say? I was soooooo delighted with it. I was expecting a beautiful result but I could not have imagined such a great WOW-Effect. The eyelashes look super natural, are very soft and you don’t think to have a foreign substance in your face. The most important is certainly the way it looks like: As you can notice on the pictures the result is really impressive (On pictures of before my eyelashes were normally mascaraed).

In order to keep that beautiful result you have to consider the following: For approximately three weeks, eyelashes have to be refilled. You wonder why so often? Well, natural eyelashes are from short durability only and fall off regularly. Consequently, not only the natural ones but also faked eyelashes paste on the natural ones will fall off. Of great importance: Eyelashes ought not to get in touch with water for 48 hours after the treatment. This was in particular a challenge the day after, when I was on the road without an umbrella and a tremendous shower befell Munich. Good, that I always got sun glasses with me.

Furthermore, you have to take into account that you should not use water proof mascara. Honestly though, there is no need of any mascara once new eyelashes are added. These are by nature black and wonderfully bent. Such a brilliant result is not possible with neither, mascara nor eyelash curler. Just shortly brush them in the mornings with a small brush that you get after the treatment at salon .

An eyelash extension with LuxusLashes costs EUR 200 and up (the traditional technique). The new method costs EUR 300 and up whereby first refill is included. Following appointments for refill in every three weeks cost EUR 50 and up depending on the amount of eyelashes needed.

Conclusion: Clearly, EUR 200 is a huge amount of money. However: It’s worthwhile! The difference to the natural eyelashes is extreme indeed and you do not want to be without them ever again. In particular for summer I like faked eyelashes because that way I don’t have to worry about mascara and eyelashes look perfectly mascaraed even though being “naked”.

Isn’t that bow TV by Schumacher every girls dream? Definitely hard to realize in a “real” flat, but soooo lovely ….

Currently, I absolutely adore the mix of blue and yellow. I don’t know why I haven’t paid any attention to this combination in years before. This summer, I definitely have to catch up with this and you can already get ready for a blue-yellow-outfit. Yellow can be find in my cupboard a lot whereas blue is only available in terms of accessory. As I could recently choose a leather jacket of the brand Milestone, I exceptionally did not go for a traditional black one but for a bright blue one.  And I’m very very happy about my choice because the jacket does not only work in combination with yellow but also replaces a jeans jacket for summerlike dresses. Further, it works with laces, bright orange, and cold blue and so forth and so on….

For three days now, I’m staying more or less in bed because of illness (meaning of the common sense “not leaving the house but working in my pajamas at my couch“). As I received a packet the day before yesterday that I opened a moment after, my pain in the limbs didn’t hinder me though to leap for joy. Vivi the dear, who is responsible for one of my favorite jewelry labels – LeCahtVIVI Berlin – surprised me with a magnificent present. I got: Samples of her new collection in that my favorite colors green and blue meet on traditional gold. Bracelets with cheerful details such as anchor clasp and tassels as well as a necklace with feather pendants. Greeeeat jewelry love! I’m already looking forward to finally get dressed up again in next days’ time and to wear those. Which piece of jewelry do you like the best?

This summer, I couldn’t decide for one favorite nail polish color, instead I have two clear favorites: Intensive orange and mysterious green. The two color families could not be more different, but equally inspire me. Thanks to my job I have the opportunity to test many, many nail polish innovations regularly. Today I would like to present to you my favorite colors of both families. And I’m curious about your preferences: Green or Orange?

Die Theke ist insgesamt 1,5 Meter lang, die Produkte sind horizontal angeordnet. Ab diesem Sommer wird sie in 150 Müller-Filialen angebracht sein. Zusammen mit vielen lieben Bloggerkolleginnen durfte ich bei der Premiere dabei sein und nebenbei noch einen ganzen Nachmittag über ausprobieren, testen, und eine wahre Make-Up-Party feiern.

Um die Neuheiten kennenzulernen wurdem wir per Zufall in vier Grüppchen eingeteilt: “Blue for you”, “Very Violet”, “Green Queen” und “Mad about Red”. Persönlich würde ich mich zwar wahrscheinlich immer in “Green Queen” einordnen (Ihr kennt ja meine Vorliebe für grünen Lidschatten), landete aber in der Gruppe “Very Violet”.

Nachdem wir uns dort mit dem violett-pinken Farbschema ausgetobt hatten, zogen wir weiter zum nächsten Tisch, um das aktuelle Sortiment und einige Neuerungen der anderen Farbgruppen kennenzulernen.

Dieses Frühjahr gibt es nicht nur jede Menge neue Produkte, sondern auch viele Sortimentserweiterungen. Meine Favoriten aus dem neuen Sortiment:

Glossy Lip Balm: Ein Pflegestift (Ähnlich dem Chubby Stick von Clinique) mit einer zarten Tönung. Meine Lieblingsfarbe ist “Sweet & Naughty”, ein softer Pinkton.

Lip Laquer: Neu in sieben Farben. Hält, und hält und hält und hält …. Absolut top! Meine Lieblingsfarbe: “Berry Bloom”, ein intensives, dunkles Rot.

Außerdem gibt es jede Menge neue Nagellackfarben und Eyeshadows. Die Quick Dry Lacke werden um acht Nuancen (Favorit: 101S Light Blue Metallic) erweitert, die Lotus Effect Lacke um drei. Im neuen Sortiment gibt es zwei BB-Creams, jede Menge neue Lippenstiftfarben, zehn neue Quattro-Lidschatten, einen Primer, Powder Rouge in zehn Nuancen, eine Bronzing Cream und sieben neue Eyeshadow Pens. Kurz und knapp: Ihr solltet ab Juli unbedingt einmal bei Müller vorbeischauen und der neuen Theke einen Besuch abstatten!

Doch zurück zum Event: Auch wenn ich jede Menge neue Produkte aus den anderen Farbgruppen kennen und lieben gelernt habe, so würde ich mich immer noch ganz klar dem grünen Farbschema verschreiben. Vielleicht bin ich ein wenig langweilig und im Bereich Augen-Make-Up wenig experimentierfreudig, aber mir haben es grüne Lidschatten und Eyeliner einfach angetan. Zusammen mit roséfarbenem Lippenstift eindeutig mein Signature-Look, der zu mir passt. Und warum sollte man ständig Neues ausprobieren, wenn man seinen persönlichen Lieblingslook bereits gefunden hat?

Some of you may have already seen in at Instagram: Last Monday, I was in Frankfurt to get to know aplenty of novelties of cosmetic brand MANHATTAN. First of all talking about the new counter; that is bigger and clearer than the current model. The counter is 1.5 meters long and products are placed horizontal. As of summer it will be implemented in 150 Müller stores. Together with numerous co-workers, I was entitled to attend the premier where at I could try out and test products. Indeed, we were celebrating a real Make-up-Party. In order to get to know new products we were randomly divided up in four groups: “Blue for you”, “Very Violet”, “Green Queen” and “Mad about Red”. Personally, I would assign myself to the “Green Queen” (You know my fondness for green eye shadow, do you?) but I ended up in the “Very Violet” group. After we lived up violet-pink tones, we crawled to next tables in order to get to know current assortment and several innovations of other color groups.

This springtime not only aplenty of new products exists but also the range of goods has increased. My favorites of the new choice:

Glossy Lip Balm:  A lip balm with a gentle tint (similar to the Chubby Stick by Clinique) My favorite color is “Sweet & Naughty”, a soft pink tone.

Lip Laquer: New in seven colors. Persistence granted!!!! Just top! My favorite color: „”Berry Bloom”, an intense dark red.

Furthermore, plenty of new nail polishes and eye shadows are introduced. Quick Dry polishes are extended by eight nuances (favorite: 101S Light Blue Metallic) and Lotus Effect ones by three. In the new assortment are: two BB-Creams, ten new Quattro-eye shadows, one primer, powder rouge, one bronzing cream and seven new eye shadow pens. Precisely: As of July you definitely should go to Müller and have a look at the new counter!

Anyways, coming back to the event: Even though, I got to know and to love many of new products among other color groups I still would assign myself to the green color scheme. I may be a bit boring and not very keen on new experiments according to eye shadow but green and I – it’s just love. It is clearly my look, together with rosé colored lip stick. Why trying out new stuff all along when you already know about your favorite look?

In which color group would you assign yourself? Is your favorite make-up “Very Violet” or “Mad about Red”, or do you rather identify yourself with “Blue for You” or are you alike me a “Green Queen”?

When somebody asks me about „my“ series only one answer exists: Gossip Girl. A series never engrossed me to such an extent before. It has been the first time I couldn’t wait for the final whilst being sooo sad that it’s over. My favorite city is New York, the perfect setting with thoroughly thought through dialogues. Straight away, two love stories to share the thrill with and in particular of importance the best TV-looks since Sex and the City. Chuck Bass let revived the Dandy Look, Blair Waldorf implemented style of Audrey Hepburn into 21^st century and Serena van der Woodsen is living our high fashion dreams. We got to the point! Recently, when I could choose among bags of the British designer label Angel Jackson, I immediately knew I go for the “Disco Rainbow” that I have already seen at Serena van der Woodsen. Colorful combined with golden details of high quality additional to the must-have-factor: It’s a realized dream which definitely brings to me a bit of New-York-Gossip-Girl-Feeling in Munich.

Beim Louis Vuitton Maison Opening habe ich endlich meine Stilikone Olivia Palermo getroffen, mit meiner Mum verbrachte ich drei Tage in Barcelona und der Frühling bescherte uns viele schöne Momente. Hier in München freuten wir uns über 25 Grad und durften nach vielen, vielen Monaten wieder einmal spüren, wie sich “Sommer” anfühlt. Grund genug, den ganzen Tag im Freien zu verbringen, inklusive Fahrradtour (natürlich mit anderem Schuhwerk) und Grillabend mit Freunden. Irgendwann musste uns dann zwar unser XXL-Sonnenschirm vor dem Regenschauer schützen, aber hierzulande darf man von dem Wetter ja auch nicht zu viel verlangen. Wie habt ihr euren Feiertag verbracht?
