Ihr habt euch sicherlich schon gefragt, was ich letzte Woche eigentlich zwei Tage in Paris gemacht habe. Grund meines Kurztrips war eine Einladung von C&A, das Store Opening am Place de la Madeleine zu feiern. Mitten im Zentrum der Stadt präsentiert sich die Düsseldorfer Marke nun auf rund 5000 Quadratmetern. Auch in Paris setzte C&A das neue Store Konzept um, das bereits in Düsseldorf für bewundernde „DAS ist eine C&A-Filiale???“-Momente sorgte. In Paris konnte ich mir endlich einmal live ein Bild von der Rundum-Erneuerung machen, und ja, das Motto „C&A on the move“ ist durchaus berechtigt. Nachdem sich in der Kollektion in den letzten Saisons bereits sehr viel getan hat, haben sich nun auch die Stores (das neue Store Design wird nach und nach in immer mehr Städten umgesetzt) ganz klar auf einem Level mit den Marken der Inditex-Gruppe eingegliedert.

Der gigantische Store sollte natürlich auch gebührend gefeiert werden, und so durften nicht nur Masha und ich, sondern rund 50 internationale Blogger das neue Konzept ausprobieren und zwei Tage vor der offiziellen Eröffnung bei Champagner und französischen Leckereien eine Runde „probeshoppen“. In meiner Einkaufstüte landete übrigens unter anderem der tolle schwarz-weiße Pullover, der mich schon in Düsseldorf begeistert hat und ein Mantel mit Hahnentrittmuster, den ich übrigens bereits beim MCM-Shooting trug.

You most likely may have wondered what I was up to in Paris last week. Reason for going there was the invitation to the C&A store opening at the Place de la Madeleine. In the middle of town’s center the Düsseldorfer brand is represented now on 5000 square meter. Also in Paris, C&A introduced the new store’s concept that is already present in Düsseldorf and provided for surprising reactions. I could finally picture the all-around renewal in Paris and yes, the theme “C&A on the move” is justified. As quite a bit has happened in the collection, stores adapted too, and the brand incooperated to same level as Inditex-groups (new store design is increasingly realized in various cities).

The magnificent store has to be properly celebrated. Thus, in addition to Masha and me 50 other international blogger could test the new concept. Two days before the official opening we could trial-shopping at champagne and French dainties. In my shopping bag wound up in inter alia the great black and white pullover that has impressed me in Düsseldorf already. Further, a coat with houndstooth check that I wore at MCM-shooting could be found in there.
